Taegis AI for Search uses generative AI to turn your natural language query into Advanced Search Query Language, reducing complexity and enhancing your ability to quickly retrieve critical security data. This enables you to interact with Advanced Search using intuitive, everyday English language, saving time and simplifying the search process.

Generate a Search Query with Taegis AI

To use Taegis AI for Search, follow these steps:

1. Select Advanced Search from the Taegis Menu.
2. Ensure you are using Query Language. You may need to select Use Query Language at the top right of the page if you most recently used the Builder option.

3. Select Generate with Taegis AI from below the search query field to open the Query Generator.

4. Enter a natural language query and then select Generate Query. One or more queries display.

5. Review the generated queries and then select Use this Query below the desired option to populate the search query field.

6. Select Search to execute the query.

7. If the results do not satisfy your request, edit the query in the search query field and then select Search again to run the query. Doing so in this manner provides the edited query to the system as feedback.

8. If satisfied with the query, select the Thumbs Up icon from below the generated query in the Query Generator, or the Thumbs Down icon if not satisfied. Input your feedback to let us know if the performance of the translation from natural language to generated query meets your expectations or how it could be improved.
