AI Defense Overview

Sophos AI Defense (AID) is a feature that runs in Sophos Fusion that lets you monitor and manage AI usage in your organization. For details of this feature, see AI Defense in the Sophos Fusion docs.

AI Defense isn't included in the Taegis license, but you can start a free trial or buy a license.

Restrictions

• Your tenant must be a direct Secureworks XDR or MDR tenant (non-MSSP).
• You must use a Taegis admin role for all aspects: from starting the trial and activating the license, to onboarding and managing policies.
• A read-only Taegis role can only view AI Defense data.

Start a Free Trial

To start your trial of AI Defense, do as follows:

1. In XDR, click AI Defense in the Taegis Menu.

   You are signed in to your linked Sophos Fusion account.

2. Go to My Products > Free Trials.

3. Click Start Trial under Sophos AI Defense.
4. Complete the guided onboarding.

Use AI Defense

After your trial begins or you buy a license, click AI Defense in the Taegis Menu to go directly to the AI Defense Dashboard in Sophos Fusion.
