Generic Post-Configured Edge Service

(Preferred deployment method)

Choose this option if the destination network can provide an IP for the new virtual machine you are creating, whether through static IP assignment from the networking equipment or through standard DHCP. Review documentation to learn how to set up a generic post-configured Edge Service:

Note

Be sure to check your network and connectivity requirements prior to VM creation.

Note

The generated ES is listed under Settings→Edge Services in VDR. Once the VM can communicate with the VDR cloud, its status changes to Healthy.
