Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

This article describes how to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your non-SSO login to Secureworks® Taegis™ VDR. 2FA is not enabled by default, but it is highly recommended.

Configure 2FA from your profile settings by following these instructions:

1. Access the System menu by selecting the Account circle icon from the top right corner and then choose Settings.

2. Select Security from the Personal Settings on the left.

3. Under Two-Factor Authentication, select Configure.

4. In the Security profile modal, select SMS text to receive one time codes for logging in or select Authenticator App to use your favorite authenticator. then click Update.

   Note

   Ensure you include the appropriate country prefix preceding your number for SMS text messages.

5. Select Send from the modal to send a verification code to your phone.

6. Enter the verification code sent to your phone in the modal, and then select Validate. A phone number succesfully updated message displays.

7. Select Back to return to the login.

8. If you selected Authenticator App then follow the prompts to generate and scan the QRCode with your chosen authenticator app on your phone. The next time you login you'll be asked for a code from your authenticator app.
